What is the toenail cutting fee?
The toenail cutting fee is £20.00. Your first appointment will include an extra, ONE OFF, payment of £10 for the purchase of toenail clippers/nail file which you then retain at home for your future appointments - this arrangement is known as Social Nail Care and is an accepted method of cross contamination avoidance and therefore infection control, as used by a leading aged charity.
EASY PAYMENT OPTION For those who have difficulty with the cost of treatment I am able to set up an interest free payment plan either on a weekly or monthly basis. For example if you require toenail cutting every 12 weeks this works out at just £1.67 per week or £6.68 per month. Please let me know if you require the Easy Payment Option.
There is the option for fingernail cutting for an extra £10.00 if required.
Feet washing service £5 if combined with Toenail Cutting or £10 if not.
What are your credentials?
I trained as a Foot Healthcare Practitioner 1986 - 1988. My experience to date has been gained in private practice, a large surgery, and a GP Practice. As part of my Continued Professional Development (CPD) I have also studied Life Sciences for Subjects Allied to Medicine with Birkbeck, University of London. I have also been trained in First Aid. I have extensive experience of working with elderly people, adults with learning difficulties, special needs, disability, and mental health issues.
Are you insured?
Yes I hold full Professional Liability Insurance.
What should I do before a treatment?
Please ensure that your feet are clean. If you have difficulty in this respect a thorough foot wash can be provided for an extra £5.00.
If you are a dog or a cat owner we kindly request that your pet(s) is/are contained in another room away from the treatment area for the health and safety of the practitioner and client as wandering animals can be disruptive to the treatment.
Please ensure that there is sufficient space for the Practitioner to work - sitting in your favourite chair is fine so long as there is room for the Practitioner's stool and footrest.
How do I pay?
I accept payment by cash or cheque. Debit/Credit Card payments MAY be introduced in the future.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 24 hour cancellation policy operates. Please note that cancellations after 24 hours may be subject to charge depending on the circumstances. However late cancellations through emergencies, unforeseen circumstances, or situations that are out of your control will always be rescheduled without charge.
